Description

A simple yet flavorful baked cod dish with a crispy breadcrumb topping, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the cod fillets in a baking dish and top with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
