Description

A vibrant and flavorful shrimp taco recipe featuring marinated shrimp, crunchy slaw, and creamy avocado, all wrapped in soft tortillas.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • Shredded cabbage
  • Fresh lime juice
  • Cilantro
  • Tortillas
  • Avocado


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Toss the shrimp in the spice mixture, ensuring each shrimp gets coated. Allow them to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, mix shredded cabbage, lime juice, and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper, then toss everything together.
  4. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high.
  5. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn opaque and pink.
  6. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or on the grill for about 30 seconds per side.
  7. Assemble your tacos by placing the grilled shrimp in each tortilla, topping them with slaw and avocado slices.
