Delicious blackened salmon tacos packed with flavor, featuring crispy salmon, fresh toppings, and creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets
- 1 tablespoon blackening seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 small tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Rub both sides of the salmon fillets with blackening seasoning.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and sear the salmon for 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked through and crispy on the outside.
- Remove the salmon from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes before flaking.
- Warm the tortillas in the skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble the tacos by adding the flaked salmon, shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, red onion, and avocado to each tortilla.
- Drizzle with sour cream mixed with lime juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
