Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 4 corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 avocado
- 1/4 cup pickled onions
- 2 tablespoons chipotle sauce
- 2 tablespoons cream
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the salmon fillets generously with taco seasoning.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, adding oil if necessary.
- Cook the salmon for 3-5 minutes per side until blackened and cooked through.
- In a bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrots, chopped cilantro, and lime juice to prepare the slaw.
- Mash the avocado in a separate bowl and season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble the tacos by layering the blackened salmon, slaw, and avocado on tortillas.
- Top with pickled onions and drizzle with chipotle sauce.
- Serve immediately.
