A delicious blackened salmon dish with a crispy exterior, creamy garlic sauce, and juicy shrimp, perfect for a quick and gourmet meal.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for salmon)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for shrimp)
- 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Rub salmon fillets with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Sear the salmon fillets in a hot pan for 3–4 minutes per side until crispy outside and flaky inside.
- In the same pan, heat olive oil and season shrimp with Cajun seasoning. Sauté until shrimp turns pink and juicy.
- In a separate saucepan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
- Pour in heavy cream, stirring in parmesan until thick and creamy.
- Plate the salmon, spoon over the creamy garlic spinach, and top with sautéed shrimp.
- Spoon extra sauce around the base and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
