Description

A restaurant-quality blackened salmon dish complemented by a rich Dijon cream sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the salmon fillets and cook for about 4–5 minutes on each side until blackened and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice, stirring to combine.
  5. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve the salmon topped with the Dijon cream sauce and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For best results, opt for skin-on salmon fillets. Adjust Cajun seasoning to your taste for more or less heat.
