Description

A delicious blackened salmon paired with creamy garlic Alfredo pasta, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning, thoroughly coating each piece for maximum flavor.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through and blackened.
  3. In a separate pot, cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions; drain.
  4. In the same pot, lower the heat and add minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
  6. Combine pasta with the sauce, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the pasta topped with the blackened salmon, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

To enhance flavor, consider adding a squeeze of lemon juice over the salmon before serving.
