Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Gather ingredients and pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, mix paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture generously on both sides of the salmon fillets.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil once hot.
- Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the skillet, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side until a blackened crust forms.
