Ingredients

  • 454 g Salmon filets
  • 5 ml Paprika
  • 5 ml Garlic powder
  • 5 ml Cumin
  • 25 ml dried Basil
  • 25 ml Onion powder
  • 25 ml Chili powder
  • 5 ml Maple syrup or brown sugar
  • 15 ml Olive oil


Instructions

  1. Warm up the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend the spices thoroughly.
  3. Pour olive oil over the salmon fillets and massage it into both sides.
  4. Dust the fillets with the spice blend, ensuring both sides are well-coated.
  5. Set the salmon with the skin facing down on a tray in the air fryer.
  6. Cook for 7-10 minutes until the salmon is done to your liking, being careful not to overcook to prevent dryness.

Notes

  • For a sweeter glaze, drizzle extra maple syrup or brown sugar on the salmon before cooking.
