- – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) dried cayenne pepper
- – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder
- – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) dried thyme
- – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) dried oregano
- – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
- – 1/8 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper

- – chopped parsley, for garnish
- – brown rice, optional for serving
Instructions
- Put the salmon pieces into a big bowl and lightly coat them with oil spray.
- In a separate smaller bowl, mix together all the seasonings from paprika to black pepper. Thoroughly coat the salmon chunks with this spice mixture.
- Lightly coat the air fryer basket with oil spray.
- Arrange the salmon chunks in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F for around 5 to 7 minutes, making sure to shake the basket halfway through, until the salmon is fully cooked inside and has a nice brown exterior.
- Accompany the dish with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
Notes
- Serve the Cajun salmon on a bed of brown rice for a nutritious meal with added fiber.
- Adjust the cayenne pepper to suit your spice preference for a customized level of heat.
- Avoid overcrowding the air fryer to ensure the salmon chunks cook evenly and develop a crispy exterior.
