Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 small tortillas (corn or flour)
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque.
- While the shrimp cooks, warm the tortillas in another skillet or microwave until soft.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a handful of shrimp on each tortilla.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and onions. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top.
