Description

A flavorful beef sauté that combines seared beef with vibrant vegetables, enhanced with soy sauce, garlic, and ginger for a quick and nutritious meal.

Ingredients

  • 500g sliced beef
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the beef and sear until nicely browned.
  3. Incorporate the carrots, red bell pepper, and broccoli, sautéing for about five minutes.
  4. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger; cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour the soy sauce over the mixture, stirring well to coat.
  6. Serve warm over a bed of cooked rice.

Notes

Slice beef against the grain for tenderness. Feel free to use pre-cut frozen vegetables for a quicker prep.
