A flavorful beef sauté that combines seared beef with vibrant vegetables, enhanced with soy sauce, garlic, and ginger for a quick and nutritious meal.
Ingredients
- 500g sliced beef
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into small florets
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef and sear until nicely browned.
- Incorporate the carrots, red bell pepper, and broccoli, sautéing for about five minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger; cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour the soy sauce over the mixture, stirring well to coat.
- Serve warm over a bed of cooked rice.
Notes
Slice beef against the grain for tenderness. Feel free to use pre-cut frozen vegetables for a quicker prep.
