Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets (340 g)
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce (60 ml)
- 1 Tbsp water (15 ml)
- 3 tsp honey (15 g)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (1 g)
- 1/4 tsp onion powder (1 g)
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic (2.5 g)
- 1/4 tsp paprika (1 g)
Instructions
- Mix the sauce ingredients together in a bowl. Adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or thin the mixture with additional water if necessary.
- Cover the salmon fillets with the prepared marinade. For the best taste, let the fish soak in the marinade for 20-30 minutes if time permits.
- Place the salmon, skin side down, into the air fryer basket. Set the temperature to 380°F and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon’s internal temperature is 145°F, using a food thermometer to check.
Notes
- Adjust the marinade’s sweetness to taste by gradually adding more honey.
- Enhance the flavor by increasing the minced garlic in the marinade.
- Ensure the salmon is perfectly cooked by checking its internal temperature with a food thermometer.
