Description

A delightful blend of crispy shrimp tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce, perfect for celebrations and weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the shrimp in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, paprika, and salt.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large pot.
  4. Dredge each shrimp in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  5. Fry the shrimp in batches until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, honey, and lime juice to create the sauce.
  7. Toss the fried shrimp in the sauce until fully coated.
  8. Serve garnished with green onions.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for the best taste. Adjust sriracha based on your spice preference.
