Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring succulent shrimp in a creamy, spicy sauce served over pasta.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust for spice preference)
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • ¼ cup green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a boil. Add linguine or spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and stir until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.
  4. Toss in the peeled and deveined shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until they become pink and opaque.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey.
  6. Combine cooked pasta with the shrimp in the skillet. Pour the sauce over the pasta and shrimp, tossing well to coat.
  7. If necessary, add a splash of reserved pasta water to achieve the desired creaminess.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with thinly sliced green onions.

Notes

Taste the sauce after mixing to ensure balanced flavors. Adjust Sriracha based on your spice preference.
