A crispy and flavorful Bang Bang Salmon Bowl featuring perfectly cooked salmon bites topped with a sweet and spicy bang bang sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillet (skinless and boneless, cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika (smoked or regular)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise (regular or light)
- 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp Sriracha (adjust according to desired heat)
- 1 tsp rice vinegar (or lime juice for brightness)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the salmon cubes dry and season them with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place the seasoned salmon cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 7–9 minutes, shaking halfway through for even crispiness.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and rice vinegar in a small bowl to create the bang bang sauce.
- Toss the crispy salmon bites in the sauce or drizzle it over the top before serving.
- Serve over rice or greens, adding toppings like cucumber, avocado, and sesame seeds.
