Description

A comforting and flavorful casserole combining large shrimp with a crispy breadcrumb topping, garlic, and fresh parsley.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, fresh, peeled, and deveined
  • 2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken or seafood broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and broth. Mix until well combined.
  3. Layer the shrimp in a greased casserole dish and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the shrimp.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy on top.
  6. Serve warm with lemon wedges.

Notes

For added flavor, consider toasting the breadcrumbs before combining with the other ingredients. Experiment with fresh herbs beyond parsley.
