Description

A healthy and flavorful dish featuring moist baked salmon with asparagus, lemon, and garlic, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lay out pieces of foil on a baking sheet.
  3. Place the trimmed asparagus in the center of each foil piece.
  4. Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil and sprinkle the minced garlic over the top.
  5. Layer a salmon fillet on top of the asparagus, seasoning it with salt and pepper.
  6. Top each salmon fillet with sliced lemon.
  7. Fold the foil over to create sealed packets.
  8. Bake the packets in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy your meal!

Notes

For additional flavor, consider adding fresh herbs like dill or parsley. Let the salmon rest in the foil for a few minutes after baking to retain moisture.
