- 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease your baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, Panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Coat each fillet with the Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to ensure it sticks.
- Arrange the coated fillets in the baking dish with space between each.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the fish is flaky and the crust is golden brown. Broil for an extra 1-2 minutes for added crispiness.
- Let rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For a bolder flavor, consider increasing the garlic powder and using more lemon juice. Substitute dried herbs for fresh herbs to tweak the recipe based on availability.
