Ingredients
- 4 cod fillets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper; bring to a gentle simmer.
- Place cod fillets in a baking dish and pour the herbed cream sauce over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, let the cream simmer longer before adding to the fish. Adding a splash of lemon can enhance the flavor.
