Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1-2 jalapeños, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Avocado slices (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine shrimp and lime juice.
- Let the shrimp marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until the shrimp turns opaque.
- After marinating, add red onion, tomato, cucumber, jalapeños, and cilantro to the bowl with marinated shrimp.
- Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined.
- Season with salt to taste and stir to combine.
- Serve chilled, garnished with avocado slices.
