Description

A classic Roman pasta dish made with just three key ingredients: pasta, Pecorino Romano cheese, and freshly cracked black pepper. This simple yet delicious meal brings warmth and tradition to the table.

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti or tonnarelli
  • Pecorino Romano cheese (grated)
  • Freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Reserve some pasta water, then drain the pasta.
  3. In a large pan, combine the hot pasta with grated Pecorino Romano cheese and a generous amount of freshly cracked black pepper.
  4. Add reserved pasta water a little at a time to create a creamy sauce, tossing until well combined.
  5. Serve immediately, topped with additional cheese and black pepper if desired.

Notes

Always use freshly cracked black pepper and adjust the amount of cheese according to your preference. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water gradually to achieve the desired consistency.
