Description

A vibrant and flavorful dish combining shrimp, asparagus, and angel hair pasta, perfect for busy evenings.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  1. Cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp and asparagus to the skillet and cook until the shrimp is pink and the asparagus is tender.
  4. Squeeze lemon juice over the mixture and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the shrimp and asparagus, mixing well.
  6. Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.

Notes

For an extra kick, consider adding red pepper flakes or substitute asparagus with seasonal vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
