A quick and nutritious Asian Salmon Rice Bowl featuring marinated salmon, sautéed vegetables, and rice, perfect for busy cooks.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, ginger, and garlic.
- Marinate the salmon fillets in the mixture for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the salmon for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- In the same skillet, add the broccoli and carrot, sautéing until tender.
- Serve the cooked rice topped with the salmon, sautéed vegetables, sliced green onions, and sesame seeds.
Notes
Allow the salmon to marinate for at least 15 minutes for better flavor infusion. You can substitute vegetables according to your preferences.
