Description

Discover how to make delicious Asian-inspired air fryer salmon bowls with this easy recipe. Perfect for a quick and healthy meal!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces (454 g) salmon fillets
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 stalk of green onions, white and green separated
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) julienned ginger
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) chili oil* plus more for serving
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the salmon by drying it with a paper towel.
  2. Chop the garlic, cut the ginger into thin strips, and slice the green onions, keeping the white and green parts separate.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  4. Allow the salmon to soak in the mixture for 10 to 30 minutes.
  5. Heat your air fryer or oven to 375 degrees and cover the tray or basket with parchment paper.
  6. Arrange the salmon pieces in the air fryer and drizzle the sauce over them.
  7. Cook in the air fryer at 375 degrees for 8 minutes, then broil for an additional 2 minutes to achieve a crispy top layer.
  8. Let the salmon sit for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy your meal!

Notes

  • For a more intense garlic flavor, finely mince the garlic instead of chopping it.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving for added crunch and flavor.
  • Adjust the honey and chili oil quantities to your desired level of sweetness and spiciness.
