Description

A flavorful and easy-to-prepare Asian grilled salmon that balances savory and sweet tastes, perfect for busy weeknights or special gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin-on
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the soy sauce, Dijon mustard, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, and olive oil in a bowl.
  2. Marinate the salmon in the mixture for 15–60 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high (375°F–400°F) and oil the grates.
  4. Grill the salmon for 4–5 minutes per side, until cooked through.
  5. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra flavor, baste the salmon with the marinade during grilling. Let the salmon rest for a few moments after grilling to redistribute the juices.
