Description
A harmonious blend of flavors and colors, this Asian glazed salmon features a rich soy sauce and honey glaze, perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 4 skin-on salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by gathering all items listed above.
- Whisk together soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil in a bowl until well combined to create the marinade.
- Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Let sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb flavors.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place marinated salmon skin-side down on it.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Drizzle any remaining glaze over the top before serving and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the salmon overnight. Adjust baking time based on the thickness of the fillets to ensure perfect flakiness.
