Description

Discover how to make delicious Air Fryer Wagyu Bites that are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • – 1 pound (454 g) beef rib-eye steaks
  • – 1/4 cup (60 ml) oyster sauce
  • – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sweet soy sauce
  • – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame oil
  • – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) brown sugar
  • – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Slice the rib-eye steaks into small, bite-sized pieces and place them in a sealable plastic bag.
  2. In a bowl, combine the oyster sauce, reduced-sodium soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, sesame oil, and brown sugar. Stir well to create a marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the steak pieces in the bag, ensuring they are thoroughly covered. Allow them to marinate for 30 minutes.
  4. Set your air fryer to a temperature of 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) to preheat.
  5. Line the air fryer basket with a perforated parchment sheet. Remove the steak from the marinade and arrange the pieces on the parchment.
  6. Cook the steak bites in the air fryer for around 6 minutes, or until they reach your preferred level of doneness, shaking the basket halfway through.
  7. Take the steak bites out of the air fryer and garnish with toasted sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Marinate the steak bites for a longer period, up to 2 hours, for a more intense flavor.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar to suit your taste preference.
  • Try different types of sesame oil to vary the nuttiness in the dish.
