Ingredients
- 1 cup raw pumpkin seeds (240 ml), rinsed and dried
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar (240 ml)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons (8 ml) salt
Instructions
- Start by placing the pumpkin seeds in a mixing bowl. Pour the apple cider vinegar over them and let them marinate for a minimum of 1 hour. After soaking, remove the vinegar and mix in the salt.
- Set your air fryer to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) to heat it up. Place the seeds into the air fryer basket and cook them for 30 minutes, making sure to shake the basket every 10 minutes.
- Once cooked, move the seeds to a plate lined with paper towels and allow them to rest for 5 minutes.
Notes
- Ensure the pumpkin seeds are fully dried before marinating in apple cider vinegar to prevent sogginess.
- Adjust salt to taste, considering the vinegar already provides a tangy flavor.
- Shake the air fryer basket every 10 minutes for even cooking and to prevent seeds from clumping together.
