Ingredients
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) maple syrup
- 3 tbsps (45 ml) low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 g) garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 g) coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 lb (454 g) beef fillets
Instructions
- Place the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper into a large resealable bag. Seal the bag and shake it well to blend all the ingredients together. Unseal the bag to add the beef fillets. Refrigerate the bag for 30 minutes to let the beef marinate.
- Take the beef out of the bag and arrange the fillets in the air fryer basket, keeping the marinade aside. Set the air fryer to 375°F and cook for 8 minutes.
- After 4 minutes, apply some of the reserved marinade onto each beef fillet, then close and continue cooking. Dispose of any remaining marinade.
- Serve right away.
Notes
- Marinate the beef fillets in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours for a more flavorful result.
- Ensure the beef fillets reach an internal temperature of at least 145°F using a meat thermometer for medium-rare doneness.
- Garnish the cooked beef fillets with chopped green onions or fresh parsley for a touch of freshness before serving.
