Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (center-cut)
  • 2 lemons, sliced into 3/8″ (1 cm) thick slices
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons (45 ml) dill, chopped
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Arrange the lemon slices in the clean air fryer basket to form a layer for the salmon pieces. Position the salmon pieces with the skin facing down on the lemon layer and drizzle olive oil over them. Scatter the chopped dill on top and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Set the air fryer to 375°F and cook the salmon for 8-10 minutes until it turns a bright pink, becomes flaky, and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  3. Take the salmon out of the fryer and serve with a squeeze of juice from the cooked lemon slices over the top.
  4. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Notes

  • Enhance the flavor by adding a sprinkle of garlic powder or paprika before air frying the salmon.
  • Remember to pat dry the salmon fillets with a paper towel before seasoning to achieve a crispy skin.
  • Try using herbs like parsley or thyme to give a unique twist to this lemon dill salmon recipe.
