Description

Learn how to make delicious Air Fryer Salmon with Garlic Honey Glaze! This easy recipe will have you enjoying a flavorful and healthy meal in no time.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (227 g) salmon
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon (0.6 ml) black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon (0.6 ml) garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon (15 ml) vegetable oil
  • 1 Tablespoon (15 ml) soy sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon (15 ml) honey
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Cut the salmon into two 4-ounce pieces if preferred. If you want, you can remove the skin from the salmon.
  2. Use paper towels to pat the salmon dry. Sprinkle the salmon with salt, pepper, and 1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder.
  3. In a mixing bowl, blend together the vegetable oil, soy sauce, honey, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly using a fork or spoon. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish.
  4. Coat both sides of the salmon pieces in the marinade, then let them sit in the marinade for 5 minutes with the pink side facing down.
  5. Ensure the salmon is placed with the skin side down (if the skin is still attached) in the air fryer. Set the air fryer to 390°F and cook for 7-8 minutes until done.

Notes

  • Adjust the garlic powder to your liking for a more pronounced garlic flavor in the marinade.
  • Ensure even cooking by flipping the salmon halfway through the air frying process.
  • For a sweeter glaze, increase the amount of honey in the marinade before coating the salmon.
