Ingredients

  • – 500g (1lb) salmon fillets
  • – 120ml (1/2 cup) melted butter
  • – 3 garlic cloves crushed
  • – 1 tsp (5 ml) oregano
  • – pinch of chili flakes
  • – 10ml (2 tsp) lemon juice
  • – 10ml (2 tsp) parsley
  • – salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix the melted butter, crushed garlic cloves, oregano, chili flakes, parsley, and lemon juice in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the salmon fillets.
  3. Place the salmon with the flesh facing down on a sheet of parchment paper and apply half of the garlic herb butter mixture.
  4. Put the salmon in the air fryer and cook at 200ºC/390ºF for 5 minutes or until the skin is crispy.
  5. Carefully flip the salmon over, discard the parchment paper, and coat with the remaining garlic herb butter.
  6. Return the salmon to the air fryer and continue cooking for an additional 3-5 minutes or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
  7. Take out the salmon and serve with a wedge of lemon.

Notes

  • Allow the garlic herb butter mixture to sit for a few minutes for a more pronounced garlic flavor.
  • Adjust the chili flakes to your desired level of spiciness.
  • Avoid overcooking the salmon in the air fryer to prevent it from drying out.
