Ingredients
- – 500g (1lb) salmon fillets
- – 120ml (1/2 cup) melted butter
- – 3 garlic cloves crushed
- – 1 tsp (5 ml) oregano
- – pinch of chili flakes
- – 10ml (2 tsp) lemon juice
- – 10ml (2 tsp) parsley
- – salt and pepper
Instructions
- Mix the melted butter, crushed garlic cloves, oregano, chili flakes, parsley, and lemon juice in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the salmon fillets.
- Place the salmon with the flesh facing down on a sheet of parchment paper and apply half of the garlic herb butter mixture.
- Put the salmon in the air fryer and cook at 200ºC/390ºF for 5 minutes or until the skin is crispy.
- Carefully flip the salmon over, discard the parchment paper, and coat with the remaining garlic herb butter.
- Return the salmon to the air fryer and continue cooking for an additional 3-5 minutes or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
- Take out the salmon and serve with a wedge of lemon.
Notes
- Allow the garlic herb butter mixture to sit for a few minutes for a more pronounced garlic flavor.
- Adjust the chili flakes to your desired level of spiciness.
- Avoid overcooking the salmon in the air fryer to prevent it from drying out.
