Description

Learn how to make delicious air fryer salmon with a creamy dill sauce that’s bursting with flavor. Perfect for a quick and easy dinner!

Ingredients

  • – 4 salmon fillets (4 x 120g/4 oz)
  • – salt and pepper
  • – 1 lemon, juice and zest
  • – cooking spray
  • – 125g/1/2 cup beef mayonnaise, can use low fat
  • – 1 tsp (5 ml) Dijon mustard
  • – 1 tbsp (15 ml) chopped dill

Instructions

  1. Set the air fryer to 400F/200C and let it heat up. Meanwhile, sprinkle salt, pepper, and the zest from half a lemon over the salmon for seasoning.
  2. After the air fryer reaches the desired temperature, place the salmon pieces inside the basket and lightly coat them with cooking spray. (Alternatively, if using oil, brush the salmon with a teaspoon of olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, and lemon zest.) Allow them to cook for 8 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, combine the mayonnaise with the zest and juice from half a lemon, mustard, and chopped dill in a small bowl to prepare the sauce.

Notes

  • Opt for low-fat mayonnaise to reduce the sauce’s calorie content.
  • Ensure the salmon fillets are evenly coated with seasoning and cooking spray for a nice crust.
  • Adjust cooking time based on fillet thickness to prevent overcooking and maintain moisture.
