Description
Learn how to make delicious air fryer salmon with a creamy dill sauce that’s bursting with flavor. Perfect for a quick and easy dinner!
Ingredients
- – 4 salmon fillets (4 x 120g/4 oz)
- – salt and pepper
- – 1 lemon, juice and zest
- – cooking spray
- – 125g/1/2 cup beef mayonnaise, can use low fat
- – 1 tsp (5 ml) Dijon mustard
- – 1 tbsp (15 ml) chopped dill
Instructions
- Set the air fryer to 400F/200C and let it heat up. Meanwhile, sprinkle salt, pepper, and the zest from half a lemon over the salmon for seasoning.
- After the air fryer reaches the desired temperature, place the salmon pieces inside the basket and lightly coat them with cooking spray. (Alternatively, if using oil, brush the salmon with a teaspoon of olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, and lemon zest.) Allow them to cook for 8 minutes.
- In the meantime, combine the mayonnaise with the zest and juice from half a lemon, mustard, and chopped dill in a small bowl to prepare the sauce.
Notes
- Opt for low-fat mayonnaise to reduce the sauce’s calorie content.
- Ensure the salmon fillets are evenly coated with seasoning and cooking spray for a nice crust.
- Adjust cooking time based on fillet thickness to prevent overcooking and maintain moisture.
