Ingredients

  • 1 head garlic
  • aluminum foil
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp (1.25 ml) salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1.25 ml) ground black pepper


Instructions

  1. Set the air fryer to a temperature of 380°F (190°C).
  2. Slice off the top of the garlic bulb and position it on a piece of aluminum foil. Fold the foil up around the garlic. Drizzle vegetable oil over the garlic and sprinkle with salt and ground black pepper. Seal the foil over the garlic to form a package.
  3. Cook in the air fryer until the garlic is tender, about 16 to 20 minutes. Carefully unwrap the foil package, taking caution as hot steam will be released.

Notes

  • Make sure to tightly wrap the foil around the garlic to prevent oil leakage while cooking.
  • Check the garlic midway through cooking to prevent burning and adjust the temperature if necessary.
  • Allow the roasted garlic to cool slightly before handling to avoid getting burned by hot steam.
