Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (454 g). baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml). extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp (5 ml). garlic powder
  • 1 tsp (5 ml). Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp (5 ml). Cajun seasoning (optional )
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Lemon wedge, for serving
  • Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved potatoes with the olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and, if desired, Cajun seasoning. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Transfer the seasoned potatoes into the air fryer basket and set the temperature to 400°F. Let them cook for 10 minutes.
  3. After 10 minutes, give the basket a shake and stir the potatoes. Continue cooking until they are golden brown and tender, which should take another 8 to 10 minutes.
  4. Once cooked, drizzle the potatoes with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Add a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese before serving for extra flavor.
  • Remember to shake and stir the potatoes halfway through cooking for even cooking.
  • Adjust seasonings to taste – add more Cajun seasoning for spice or omit for a milder flavor.
