Description

Learn how to perfectly cook juicy and flavorful ribeye steaks using an air fryer. Follow our simple recipe for delicious results every time!

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless ribeye steaks, about 16 oz (454 g) and 1.5 inches in thickness each
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) salt
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp (3 ml) black pepper
  • Olive oil or avocado oil spray
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) Ghee, for serving, optional
  • Fresh parsley, for serving, optional

Instructions

  1. Warm up the air fryer at 400 degrees for 3 minutes. Coat both sides of the ribeye steaks with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Mist the air fryer basket with avocado oil, then place the steaks inside. Lightly coat the top of the steaks with the oil spray.
  3. Cook in the air fryer for 6 minutes, turn them over, and continue cooking for another 5-6 minutes to achieve medium rare. The cooking duration might vary based on the steak thickness. To reach your preferred doneness, check with a meat thermometer. For medium rare, the steaks should be taken out at 130 degrees.
  4. Allow the meat to rest covered with foil for 5 minutes.
  5. Serve with a dollop of ghee and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Consider using grass-fed butter instead of Ghee for a richer flavor when serving.
  • Enhance the aroma by adding a pinch of dried thyme or rosemary to the seasoning mix.
  • Pat dry the steaks before seasoning to ensure a nice crust in the air fryer.
