Description

Discover the secret to perfectly cooked air fryer ribeye steak! Learn step-by-step techniques for a juicy, flavorful steak in less time, with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 2 rib-eye steaks, cut 1 1/2- inch thick
  • 5 cup (120 ml) reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 25 cup (60 ml) olive oil
  • 4 teaspoon (20 ml) s grill seasoning (such as Montreal Steak Seasoning®)

Instructions

  1. Place the rib-eye steaks, soy sauce, olive oil, and grill seasoning into a large sealable bag, ensuring all ingredients are combined. Allow the steaks to soak in the mixture for a minimum of 2 hours.
  2. Take the steaks out of the bag and dispose of the marinade. Dab the steaks with a paper towel to remove any extra oil.
  3. Pour roughly 1 tablespoon of water into the bottom of the air fryer basket to minimize smoke while cooking. Set the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and let it heat up.
  4. Put the steaks in the air fryer once it has reached the desired temperature and cook for 7 minutes. Turn the steaks over and continue cooking for about another 7 minutes for medium-rare. If you prefer them medium, cook for 8 minutes on each side.
  5. Allow the steaks to rest for approximately 5 minutes prior to serving.

Notes

  • Coat rib-eye steaks evenly with the soy sauce, olive oil, and grill seasoning mix for optimal flavor.
  • Pat steaks dry with a paper towel after marinating to enhance searing in the air fryer.
  • Allow steaks to rest for 5 minutes after cooking for tender, juicy meat.
