Description

Learn how to make delicious air fryer poached eggs with this easy recipe. Perfectly cooked eggs every time. Try it now!

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) olive oil
  • 3 tablespoon (45 ml) hot water

Instructions

  1. Coat your ramekin with a thin layer of olive oil to prevent the egg from sticking.
  2. Add 3 tablespoons of hot water into the ramekin.
  3. Carefully break an egg and place it into the ramekin.
  4. Heat up the air fryer by setting it to 350°F (175°C) and allowing it to warm for a minute.
  5. Position the ramekins in the air fryer basket and let them cook for 5–6 minutes for a runny yolk or 7–8 minutes if you prefer a slightly firmer center. Adjust the cooking time based on your desired level of doneness to consistently achieve perfect poached eggs.
  6. Gently remove the ramekins (they will be hot, so use oven mitts or silicone tongs) and extract the egg using a spoon. If necessary, use a butter knife to gently loosen the egg from the edges if it is sticking.

Notes

  • Consider enhancing the flavor by seasoning the egg with a pinch of salt and pepper before air frying.
  • Experiment with different varieties of olive oil to achieve varying levels of flavor in your poached eggs.
  • Use fresh, high-quality eggs to ensure the best taste and texture in your dish.
