A delicious and crispy air fryer parmesan-crusted halibut that’s easy to prepare yet full of flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 pound halibut
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
Instructions
- Dry the halibut well with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, parmesan, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and hot sauce.
- Crush the Ritz crackers and place them into another bowl.
- Coat the fish in the mayo mixture, ensuring all sides are covered, then roll in the crushed crackers to coat completely.
- Carefully place the coated halibut in the air fryer in a single layer, making sure they do not touch each other or the sides.
- Cook in the air fryer at 350°F for 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 130-135°F.
Notes
For a thicker coating, try a double-dip technique with the mayo and crackers. Use cooking spray for extra crispness.
