Ingredients
- 2 pounds (907 g) chicken wings
- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
- 25 teaspoon (1 ml) freshly cracked black pepper
- 5 cup (120 ml) cornstarch
- 4 tablespoon (60 ml) s vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
Instructions
- Set the air fryer to a temperature of 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- In a spacious bowl, mix the chicken wings with 2 tablespoons of seafood seasoning and black pepper. Add the cornstarch and toss until they are evenly covered. Give each wing a little shake and arrange them in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t touch each other; cook in separate rounds if needed.
- Cook in the preheated air fryer for 10 minutes, give the basket a good shake, and continue cooking for another 8 minutes. Turn the wings over and cook until they are fully done and the juices are clear, about 5 to 6 minutes more.
- In the meantime, for the sauce, mix vegetable oil and 1 teaspoon of seafood seasoning in a small pot. Heat to a boil on medium, stirring the whole time.
- Coat each wing in the prepared sauce. Present with the extra sauce available on the side.
