Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) shredded pulled beef
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) taco seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) garlic powder
  • 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 ml) hot sauce
  • 4 cups (960 ml) tortilla chips
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) cheese sauce
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) shredded cheese (Mexican blend or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) black beans, cooked and drained
  • 5 pickled jalapeños, optional
  • 1 Roma tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) yogurt
  • 1 stalk green onion
  • 3 sprigs fresh cilantro


Instructions

  1. Mix the pulled beef with taco seasoning, garlic powder, and hot sauce in an oven-safe dish, ensuring even coating.
  2. Place the dish into the air fryer and heat for 3 minutes at 400°F.
  3. Arrange the tortilla chips in a 9-inch pie or cake pan, then generously pour cheese sauce over them.
  4. Layer the seasoned beef, black beans, jalapeños, and shredded cheese on top of the chips.
  5. Set the pan in the air fryer basket and cook at 350°F for 5 minutes until the chips are crispy and cheese is gooey. If needed, extend the cooking time by 1-2 minutes.
  6. To finish, garnish the nachos with diced tomatoes, chopped green onion, and cilantro. Add a dollop of yogurt on top before serving.
