Ingredients
- 1 cup (240 ml) shredded pulled beef
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) taco seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) garlic powder
- 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 ml) hot sauce
- 4 cups (960 ml) tortilla chips
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) cheese sauce
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) shredded cheese (Mexican blend or cheddar)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) black beans, cooked and drained
- 5 pickled jalapeños, optional
- 1 Roma tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) yogurt
- 1 stalk green onion
- 3 sprigs fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Mix the pulled beef with taco seasoning, garlic powder, and hot sauce in an oven-safe dish, ensuring even coating.
- Place the dish into the air fryer and heat for 3 minutes at 400°F.
- Arrange the tortilla chips in a 9-inch pie or cake pan, then generously pour cheese sauce over them.
- Layer the seasoned beef, black beans, jalapeños, and shredded cheese on top of the chips.
- Set the pan in the air fryer basket and cook at 350°F for 5 minutes until the chips are crispy and cheese is gooey. If needed, extend the cooking time by 1-2 minutes.
- To finish, garnish the nachos with diced tomatoes, chopped green onion, and cilantro. Add a dollop of yogurt on top before serving.
