Description

Learn how to make spooky air fryer mummy dogs with cheese wrap for a fun and delicious Halloween treat. Perfect for a quick and easy recipe!

Ingredients

  • – 10 beef hot dogs (10 hot dogs)
  • – 1 tube refrigerated crescent dough sheet (1 tube refrigerated crescent dough sheet)
  • – 20 candy eyes (20 candy eyes)

Instructions

  1. Take the hot dogs out of their packaging and use a paper towel to dry them.
  2. Roll out the crescent dough on a cutting surface and slice it into 4 squares. Then, divide each square into 10 thin strips going lengthwise.
  3. Wrap each hot dog with 4 dough strips, gently stretching the dough to wrap it around like mummy bandages. Leave a small space at the top for the candy eyes.
  4. Arrange the hot dogs in the air fryer, ensuring there is space between each one for proper airflow. You may need to cook them in multiple rounds.
  5. Cook in the air fryer at 330 degrees for 7-8 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and fully baked. Later batches will cook faster since the air fryer will already be heated.
  6. Take the hot dogs out of the air fryer and attach the candy eyes to the hot dogs to create a face.

Notes

  • Wrap the crescent dough strips securely around the hot dogs to prevent them from unraveling during cooking.
  • Space out the mummy hot dogs in the air fryer for even cooking and crispy dough.
  • Monitor the hot dogs closely in the air fryer as they may cook faster than anticipated, especially in subsequent batches.
