Ingredients
- – 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (10-16 oz (369 g), trimmed)
- – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) brown sugar (packed)
- – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) sea salt
- – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Set your Air Fryer to 380℉ and allow it to warm up for 5 minutes as you get the chicken ready.
- With a small spoon or a pastry brush, coat the top of each chicken breast with maple syrup.
- Mix together brown sugar and sea salt in a small bowl. Evenly distribute this mixture over the syrup-coated chicken breasts, pressing it into the syrup for a uniform coating.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts into the Air Fryer basket. Choose the chicken setting and confirm the temperature is set to 380℉. Allow the chicken to cook for 16-20 minutes, remembering to turn it over halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- If desired, pour off the juices from the tray and baste the chicken before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by increasing the brown sugar or maple syrup.
- Properly trim chicken breasts for even cooking and tenderness.
- Ensure both sides cook evenly by flipping chicken breasts halfway through cooking.
