Description

A flavorful and crispy air fryer mahi mahi dish that is both healthy and satisfying for the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 2 mahi mahi fillets (about 1 pound)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (or smoked paprika)
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons garlic herb butter, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it heat while you prepare the fish.
  2. Rinse the mahi mahi fillets under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Coat each fillet with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly covered.
  3. Mix the paprika, granulated garlic, black pepper, and kosher salt in a small bowl. Rub the seasoning mixture over both sides of the fish fillets.
  4. Place the seasoned fillets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they remain in a single layer without overlapping. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish reaches an internal temperature of 137°F (58°C) and is cooked through.
  5. Remove the fillets from the air fryer and transfer them to a plate. Drizzle fresh lemon juice over each fillet and top with 1 tablespoon of garlic herb butter. Serve immediately for best results.

Notes

For best results, ensure fish fillets are not overcrowded in the air fryer basket and flip halfway through cooking for even results.
