Ingredients
- 2 (4 ounce (113 g)) lobster tails
- 4 tablespoon (60 ml) s vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) lemon zest
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) chopped fresh parsley
- 2 wedges lemon
Instructions
- Ensure you have all the necessary ingredients at hand. Set your air fryer to a temperature of 380°F (195°C) to preheat.
- To prepare the lobster tails, use kitchen shears to slice through the top shells and the meat lengthwise, ensuring you don’t cut through the bottom shells.
- Gently pull the halves of the tails apart and position them in the air fryer basket with the lobster meat facing upwards.
- In a small saucepan over medium flame, warm the vegetable oil. Incorporate the lemon zest and grated garlic, cooking until the garlic releases its aroma, approximately 30 seconds.
- Move 2 tablespoons of the oil mixture to a separate small dish; use this to coat the lobster tails with a brush. Dispose of any leftover brushed oil to prevent any cross-contamination from raw lobster. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the lobster for seasoning.
- Place the lobster tails in the already heated air fryer and cook until the meat turns opaque, around 5 to 7 minutes.
- Drizzle the remaining oil from the saucepan over the lobster meat. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and accompany with lemon wedges when serving.
Notes
- Thoroughly clean lobster tails before cooking to remove debris.
- Adjust salt and pepper seasoning to taste preference.
- Evenly brush lobster tails with oil mixture for consistent cooking and flavor distribution.
