Description

Discover a delicious recipe for Air Fryer Honey Mustard Salmon Bites that are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Perfect for a quick and easy meal!

Ingredients

  • – 1 pound (454 g) skinless salmon filet, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • – salt and pepper, to taste
  • – 1/2 cup (120 ml) soy sauce
  • – 1/2 cup (120 ml) maple syrup
  • – 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • – juice of one lemon

Instructions

  1. Slice the skinless salmon into cubes measuring one inch and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl of medium size, combine soy sauce, maple syrup, minced garlic, and lemon juice, whisking until fully blended. Set aside 2 tablespoons of this mixture to apply to the salmon while it cooks.
  3. Mix the salmon cubes with the remaining marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated, and let sit for 20 minutes.
  4. Transfer the marinated salmon pieces to the air fryer. Set the temperature to 390°F and cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Pause the cooking, apply the reserved glaze onto the salmon pieces, and continue cooking for another 3 minutes. Ensure the salmon’s internal temperature reaches between 125-130°F.
  6. Serve the salmon atop a bed of rice accompanied by vegetables.

Notes

  • Marinate salmon longer for a bolder flavor using soy sauce, maple syrup, garlic, and lemon juice.
  • Adjust air fryer cooking time based on salmon thickness to ensure perfect doneness.
  • Enhance marinade with sesame oil or ginger for added depth of flavor.
