Ingredients

  • – 12 Hawaiian rolls (680g)
  • – ¾ pound (340g) sliced deli beef
  • – 6 slices smoked cheddar cheese – or swiss, colby jack, or gouda
  • – 4 tablespoons (60ml) vegetable oil
  • – 2 tablespoons (30ml) honey
  • – 1 tablespoon (15ml) fresh parsley – chopped
  • – 1 teaspoon (5ml) garlic powder
  • – ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) salt
  • – ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) dried minced onion


Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 375°F and prepare a baking tray with foil.
  2. Place the Hawaiian rolls on a cutting board and carefully slice the tops off without separating them.
  3. Fold each piece of beef in half and arrange them on the bottom sections of the rolls. Lay the cheese slices over the beef. Place the roll tops back on.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the vegetable oil, honey, chopped parsley, garlic powder, salt, and dried minced onion using a fork or small whisk. Use a pastry brush to generously coat the tops of the sliders with the mixture.
  5. Wrap the sliders with foil and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until they are thoroughly heated and the cheese has melted.
