Description
Learn how to make delicious Air Fryer Honey Garlic Salmon at home with this easy recipe. Perfectly cooked salmon with a sticky sweet glaze awaits!
Ingredients
- 2 Salmon Fillets (5-8 oz each) (140-225g each)
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) Coconut Aminos (or Soy Sauce)
- 80ml Honey
- 4 Garlic Cloves, minced (or 1/2 tsp (3 ml) garlic powder, plus more to taste)
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) Red Crushed Pepper, optional
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, blend together the coconut aminos, honey, and minced garlic.
- Drizzle half of this mixture over the salmon pieces and add salt, pepper, and red crushed pepper to taste. If you have time, allow the salmon to sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Cover your air fryer basket with foil for simpler cleanup, and coat it lightly with oil to stop the salmon from sticking.
- Set the air fryer to preheat at 400 degrees F for 3 minutes.
- Brush the salmon with the leftover sauce. Position the salmon in the air fryer with the skin facing down. Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, adjusting for the salmon’s thickness. The salmon is ready when it forms a caramelized crust and flakes apart easily with a fork. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 145F for complete cooking.
- Pair with your preferred sides and savor the meal!
Notes
- Adjust the garlic amount to suit your taste for a bolder or subtler sauce flavor.
- Enhance spiciness by adding more red crushed pepper or a dash of cayenne.
- Ensure salmon fillets are dried thoroughly before marinating for better sauce adherence and flavor.
