Description

A quick and delicious air fryer recipe for honey garlic salmon that balances rich flavors and healthy eating.

Ingredients

  • 2 fillets of salmon (fresh or fully thawed)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • 3 tablespoons honey (maple syrup for a vegan option)
  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (or lime juice)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 2 wedges of lemon (or lime)
  • Fresh parsley, cilantro, or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and optional garlic powder.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, coating evenly. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) while the salmon marinates.
  4. Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil for added flavor and to prevent sticking.
  5. Place the marinated fillets in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, depending on thickness. The salmon should flake easily with a fork when done.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley, cilantro, or green onions.

Notes

Serve with a side of steamed vegetables, quinoa, or salad for a full meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
